Are you our new Operations & Housekeeping Coordinator?
Copenhagen- and Aarhus-based Daniel & Jacobs is looking for a full-time colleague to keep our storages sharp, our linens flowing, and our apartments guest-ready — from inventory and packing to deliveries, room checks, and contractor coordination.
With 250+ units in operation and multiple new “stand alone” apartments and aparthotels in the pipeline, this is a chance to keep the engine room of a growing hospitality company running smoothly every day.
What you’ll be doing:
Storage & Inventory
● Keep storages organized and labeled for linens, guest amenities, and spare items.
● Track and replenish stock levels
● Run counts and maintain clear inventory sheets.
Linen Handling
● Pack, sort, and stage linen sets per unit/size; manage returns and damaged stock.
● Coordinate pick-ups and returns with laundry partners; monitor quality and shortages.
Logistics & Deliveries
● Plan delivery routes; transport linens, amenities, and equipment between sites.
● Ensure timely drop-offs aligned with check-in/turnover windows.
Room Supervision & Quality Control
● Conduct spot checks of apartments to verify cleaning standards and setups.
● Flag maintenance issues or missing items and ensure quick resolution.
● Support busy turnaround days when needed.
Cleaning Vendor Coordination
● Act as the daily contact for external cleaning companies.
● Share schedules, keys/access info, and quality expectations.
● Escalate issues, log follow-ups, and track performance.
Guest & Team Support
● Deliver items or provide assistance directly to guests when needed.
● Handle simple guest requests on-site to ensure a smooth experience.
● Assist with small maintenance tasks
● Work closely with our Communication, Maintenance and Cleaning teams to align priorities and resolve issues quickly.
Documentation & Work Routines
● Keep delivery logs and checklists up to date.
● Help refine and follow clear routines (“how we do things”) to make operations smoother.
What we expect of you
● Experience from hospitality operations, housekeeping/logistics, facilities, or similar.
● Strong organization and attention to detail; you love tidy storages and clear labels.
● Valid driver’s license and comfort driving in the city.
● Comfortable with a physically active workday, including lifting and moving, carrying items (e.g. linen bags, boxes, equipment).
● Basic spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets/Excel) for inventory and checklists.
● Flexible and available, but do plan and complete most of your daily functions yourself.
● Smiling, open and happy to help others.
● Not afraid to take on various tasks and coordinate in various situations
● Used to working with different IT solutions.
● Fluent English.
